In the 22nd century Captain Jonathan Archer commands the Enterprise NX-01 during the early days of interstellar travel. It is an experimental prototype It is equipped with only a phase cannon and a rudimentary transporter system that works most of the time.

Best Episode

Twilight (2003) – The Delphic Expanse anomaly means that Archer is unable to form any new long-term memories. Twelve years later, he learns the the outcome of the Human-Xindi conflict: the loss of Earth, and the near-annihilation of the Human race.

2nd Best Episode

Azati Prime (2004) – Archer is insistent on piloting a kamikaze shuttle to destroy the Xindi weapon. Daniels tries to talk him out of it.

3rd Best Episode

Zero Hour (2004) – Archer takes Degra’s ship to try to prevent Earth from being decimated. The Enterprise tries to destroy Sphere 41, but the Sphere Builders know about the plan.

4th Best Episode

Babel One (2005) – The Enterprise is attacked by an Andorian ship, and Archer must prove that it is the Tellarites who are responsible for the trouble.

5th Best Episode

Carbon Creek (2002) – T’Pol tells Archer and Trip about the first contact between humans and Vulcans. We arrive in the town of Carbon Creek, Pennsylvania in 1957, where three Vulcans Became stranded.

Worst Episode

These Are the Voyages… (2005) – In order to clear his mind, Commander William T. Riker relives the last mission of the first Enterprise on the holodeck.
